This vest is made from layered indigo fabric with varied texture and hand stitching. It has a double front and distinctive knot buttons.

The sashiko fabric uses kasezome thread dyed indigo; each skein has a slightly different shade, creating uneven vertical lines. It’s light and shirt-like, and will develop rich indigo fading with wear. The cloth has a red power-loom selvedge and a soft, fluffy feel.

The boxy silhouette is versatile and can be worn over anything. Each indigo shade is unique and will age with the wearer.
